Give Yourself Rewards
You will want to make sure that you are setting up little rewards for yourself that you will be able to look forward to. For example, if you finally get to the point where you have lost the first little bit of weight that you wanted to lose, you might want to reward yourself with some new clothes. If you had a goal of getting a promotion at work and you have finally done it, you can reward yourself with a fancy dinner out on the town with your closest of families.
As you can see, setting and keeping goals for yourself is all about being prepared and taking action. So really, whether or not you make it to your goals is going to be completely up to you. You are in control of your destiny so you will want to get started on improving your future before time simply passes by and you have missed out.
